vvvvcBilly Bragg producer Grant Showbiz bids, on this second Moodswings disc, to become the '90s answer to Mike Batt--the Brit impresario (remember the Wombles?) who produced kitchen-sink instrumental exotica for the lumpen proletariat in the late '70s. That's Tanita Tikaram (we think) in "Together as One (Luminous)," but she brings little to an album that is essentially faux electronica/world beat for boutique browsers. --Jeff Bateman
