Motley Crue ~ Dr. FeelgoodMotley Crue was the ultimate party band of the '80s, and it showed; whenever they tried to get serious, the results were ugly. Dr. Feelgood is good-time heavy rock from start to finish, and that's all it has to be. This album has more hooks than a fisherman's tackle box, from the rip-roaring "Kickstart My Heart," to the groove-oriented title track, to the infectiously funny "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)." Of course, it wouldn't be a Motley Crue album without a heaping dose of raunchiness, as songs like "Slice of Your Pie," "Sticky Sweet," and "She Goes Down" can attest. Definitely the Crue's best album; unfortunately, it's been downhill ever since. --Genevieve Williams
