Mark Lanegan was a founding member of Seattle grunge group, the "Screaming Tree's." His solo work shows a much deeper and more peotic side. Many of his songs deal with his struggle with addiction and the seedier side of his life. This recording is probably my favorite, but all of his solo work is worth hearing.
