One of the best reproductions of Beethoven's Symphonies. Toscanini will be remembered as one of the best conductors of the world.
I like 3, 5 and 9. About the people who attended the premiere performance of 3 or Eroica in Dec. 1804, The Economist magazine said in its Millennium issue that "THEY came for a concert. They witnessed a revolution." 5 is arguably the most popular among them all and it is not difficult to see why, and the final movement of number 9, Ode to Joy, is the anthem of the European Union!
The 2nd movement of Symphony no 7, Allegretto, is my favorite piece of music ever!
The Symphony 2nd in A major is my favorite too!
