The original is called El choclo. It's an Argentine Tango composed around 1900 by someone I've never heard of. The Louis Armstrong version is not the most popular. I prefer it because of his singing and because he plays a cool trumpet solo.

Tango has to be one of the sexiest dances ever created. If you want to watch a really great trailer about Tango, check out the Tango Lesson (1997) by Sally Potter on IMDB. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way now to rent this film on DVD or stream it but maybe I haven't done a really throrough. It can only be purchased. I purchased this DVD as a gift for a friend about 20 years ago.
