When English songs were getting traction in Italy, the Italian singer Adriano Celentano wanted to demonstrate that Italians love everything which sounds remotely English. He composed this song in 1973, eventually proving his point since it was very successful. The reason why it sounds so well -even though it's gibberish- is because Celentano studied phonetics theory in preparation.
