i havent a clue!! would like puggle, and jaynes inpout too when they back on.. wex lady obviously!! you got any suggestions yourself? bearing in mind money is a prob for many of us down here ( pay is crap in the 'country'))------ This poll is Archived ------

Kilmore Quay is lovely. Accommodation is limited though. Wooden House is closed and I think the Quay Place is too. So there would really only be the Hotel Saltees and maybe a couple of B&Bs. There's no nightclub in the quay for those who want to go dancing so it would mean a taxi into town anyway.
In town there are the hotels which have music at the weekends, or several smaller pubs. And there are nightclubs..The Stores, The Music Factory, Chocolate.
Really depends what people are looking for.

yeh was thinking that... i knwo theres the greyhounds but dunno if thats on a sat - is there any kind achilled out rest where you can mix n match all sorts of grub and then relax in a super comfy but old fashioned beer garden/bar? lol

Bowling would be good.
I love the Talbot on saturday nights. There is always live music on til 12 and dj til 2. If there is a wedding on it would be in the function room. It's a big hotel so there should be rooms available..there are B&Bs and other hotels though if it is full.
Danby Lodge is a good bit out in a taxi though..about €20 in a hackney or €30+ in a taxi.

mm, my sisi got maried recently in talbot- staff were great and the bar does saty open late he he hee.. yeh, my bro etc say the bowling is good craic and has loud music and can organise finger food. sooo I am thinking of this:
folks travel to wexford town, can enjoy shopping etc till time to meet at hotel (talbot, ) whereupon will have a minibus organised to go to bowling alley- prob 2 lanes dependant on number of folks- can do a (darn whats the coen bros movie?) on it and avail of some pre-organisoed finger food. then simply back to hotel to chillout and relax with said dj and singsong in bar etc?

Never been in Whites on a Saturday night. Not sure if the nightclub is still there.

Yeah. The clubs all finish at 2, so does the Talbot (except the residents bar which is open til 4). So people have a choice whthere to stay put or move on to somewhere else.

Yeah I know one of the doormen in the stores so could arrange the same if needed. I personally am not a fan of the Stores but some like it.

note to halloween lovers, this can be done as a seperate night out.
basically the point of this get together was originally for those in south east to meet sooner rather than later if couldnt make other meets but naturally everyone and their brother/sister is welcome!!
