because of their attitudes towards the treaty?? i think the treaty will be great for the country like what more can we lose.. nothing.. its ridiculous that people voted no just cos they couldnt understand it, if they cant understand it, why vote in the first place
TOODLES: i have looked into it and nothing has changed though the government have said it has so its no again
That's not true we have been assured that 3 things that had nothing to do with the treaty in the first place STILL have nothing to do with the treat y. Well that's a relief!
scribbler83: Well because if you don't understand something and you don't vote A bad treaty could be passed by you not voting.
You certainly seem to have changed your tune in the last 2 hours. Remember this?
"who cares bout the treaty either way wont get me my job back.. hate the irish government."
yes its not gonna make a difference but you also hav nothin to lose by saying yes thats all im saying.. we said no already and look at the mess we are in

We were in the same mess in June of Last year before we voted no.
jimbo79: really dont get what sinn feins success has to do with a vote on europe. no here
Actually, looking at the European elections- it was clear that SF advocating a no vote gained them votes- judging by how much better they polled in Europe than in the locals.

well mark my words it will be passed this time, nearly everyone i know is gonna be voting yes and thats a lot of people.. the no vote wont win this time im afraid

sinn fein? success? They had a terrible time in the last election at a time when they could have cleaned up deferred ff votes but it didnt work out for em

i dont see how they could have gotten fiana fail votes as sinn fein are a socialist party and fiana fail are certainly not

?????? if people were fianna fail supporters but then changed their mind bout them because of everything that has gone on, then they could vote for sinn fein.. just like ex-fianna failers are now voting fine gael

People were pissed off with ff, they were liable to vote for anybody, the left wing and right wing affiliation of a party would go out the window just to punish ff, It was a protest vote against ff and the shinners could have prospered

i have lots of complaints about politicans... and from all parties.. but when the big three get together and say yes. vote yes.. its obvious its for the good of the country...
should we listen to SF.. or wrse yet.. to libertas.. whos party is just a mask for some horrid far right agenda that is hidden beneath its "care for the irish people"
half the people who voted no the last time i reckon did it out of spite, or fear, or even worse, listenin to the lies of libertas...
if u dont know what to vote the DONT VOTE... jesus... we are a part of europe. get used to it... think how much being part of the EU has helped us the last 30 yrs.. and yes, yes i know.. its not a perfect system thats running.. but voting no is cuttin of our nose to spite our face... JMO

70% yes I reckon. But what percentage of those will be voting yes for the right reasons.
ill vote no. no no. if u vote yes and work and then at end of each week told how mubh tax u pay. then also it wil allow abporsion here which inself is wrong when they cant even run a normal hospital

vote fianna fail fine gael labour there all pretty much the same hence why the protest vote went where it did the people didnt want a change of direction just new faces
gorrestfump: libertas may act like a socialist group,
When? Libertas for the last referendum consisted of PDs the hard right of FF and FG, a multimillionaire thatcherite and many more of that hue. It never pretended to be Socialists.
