My Dad died in 97 or so I do not even remember, and My mother does not even talk to me. She is not mad at me, but she has her fav's and I aint it. She has eleven kids. I love but I do not like her. She can get the shirt off my back... but hmmm.

Both parents made some pretty bad mistakes; but dad admits his mistakes and says "I'm sorry" and loves life and people and can laugh at himself. Mum carries a grudge forever and has a mean streak.
I see that dad's qualities bring you more friends and make you happier, so I learnt to be more like dad. I love them both; but I love - and like - my dad.

My mother was the glue of our family. She was always there & could always be relied on for an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or a big hug just because.
