I am not a very rich man.
I am interested to know if that is important to all you ladys.
Does it matter that your potential date is rich or poor?

Money helps, but it certainly don't bring happiness.

Give me a portion of chips, a park bench and can of special brew any day uh oh
Ok, maybe not the special brew, but a bottle of lambrini will do grin

I don't like a guy to be tight, I remember my friend had a boyfriend and we went to dinner at a restaurant with him and he asked us to share a starter. That's tight! I wouldn't put up with that. E specially as at the end of the meal he tried to find fault with the dinner to get a reduction. Tight to the point of being embarassing.

On the other hand I don't expect a guy to pay for everything, like to pay my way too!

I wasn't married so can only say I have seperated from my partner, it has never crossed my mind to take him to the cleaners! but I know what you mean, I have seen many sticky divorces!! Not pleasant!!

I guess, I am one of us 'quiet' ones, whom let the hubby dictate what it is that he wants out of the 'matrimonial home'. -: So he took; TV and extras that came with it, leather sofas, cooker, and mattress off my (our) bed..!!! Stuff him.... I can and have replaced it all with better!!
I gave no arugment, when he asked for these things, cos, HE bought them! At least I know in my heart of hearts, I have been fair!!!!!

So...... berniej, Is not always the chap whom gets taken to the cleaners!!

There are those of us women, whom do like to play FAIR!!!!!!!!!

I have met two men off this site, and I know they can verify, that I do like to / and will pay my own way.........

So.... Please do not tar 'us' all to the same brush!

Thanks Jo x handshake

Damn right lil, and doesn't it make you feel good inside, knowing whatever the 'wanker' could, has and had ever put you through, that you have come through the other side, maybe a with a few war wounds, but also a stronger person and so much more independant and determind!!

As for giving him the house!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL NO (Well not in my case) I ended up in a battered womens hostel with two kids, and I started from scratch, I got a nice flat, but like a mug I took him back cos he convinced me he had changed, we married, I had my third child, we got offered a house, but then soon afterwards he was back to 'old ways'. Put up with it for several yrs, then something snapped, enough was enough - So the house I have is mine and my kids. Let him go to the hostel for a bloody change!!!! So giving him his 'possesions' which he contributed towards, was no hardship at all, no way as difficult as starting from scratch like last time!! LOL Been on my own 3 yrs now and LOVE it. I get to wear makeup, I get to chat with lovely people such as yourself..... Life is BRILL! lolcheering
