Why the obsession with Iran? You've done 3 consecutive polls on Iran! You've got Iran on the brain or what?
Yes, i know where it is and some superficial things about the country but have never been there personally. BTW anyone with half a brain knows it's a country.

Yeah, it's where the US deposed the democratically elected Mosedek government and set up the Shah, (a typical US imposed dictator).
And then when the Shah had done his job of destroying all democracy and giving rise to a radical opposition, the US and the French brought in the Ayatollah to condense that opposition into a theocratic regime, perfect for the purpose of portraying all of Islam as being hopelessly fanatically religiously hateful of the west and intent on world domination.
That portrayal, along with Bush's staged 911 antics, led to the current state of affairs wherein the US militarily occupies and/or dominates the entire middle east.
Of course the neo-con US politicians who supported that whole operation had no idea that by the time it came to pass, China would already have the entire US economy (and thereby the US government) in its pocket.
Only the big guys knew that, and most of them are not even American.
