Why must we always put our weight on god, or any spiritual being for that matter, why can't we just deal with things ourself, after all is it to far form a logical sense that prayer is just ourselves telling ourselves over and over that we want to accomplish something, unknowingly we are doing this ourselves, if you want something bad enough you are the one that has to do the work, god is not going to get that raise for you, you have to work at it.and when you pray, or preform a ritual or what ever your belief inspires you to do, all your doing is gearing your subconious to work towards what ever you are desiring. Its theory of mine.

Agreed, Maybe not the god part but we all have "intuition" I think this world would be a little better if if we all fallowed our "gut" a little more.
