You can do a little experiment for your self to see this working, it needs nothing more than a common house fly. Most people would say that a fly is a very basic life form but flies like just about everything in this world have a few surprises.
Try this; you are sitting in a room and there is a fly buzzing around, a little annoying but you haven’t been motivated yet to pick up the fly swat. As soon as you do, the fly’s behaviour changes- it’s now hard to find, it disappears before you even move, so you wait. Soon you give up and are back doing what your mind was on. The fly returns buzzing around. With the whole room the fly in it only comes where your thoughts are focused instead. lift up the swat and its gone again.
