RE: Where would you go if you could go back in time?

That depends on whether it is a one-way or a round-trip you're talking about. I wouldn't want to go back before modern conveniences existed, like running water and electricity, not to mention flushing toilets!help

The ancient past was a good time to get killed for practically no reason. For example, say you materialized in front of some way-back citizens, and they burned you for practicing witchcraft. Even if they didn't see you arrive, you would have to go to great lengths to fit in without arousing suspicion, and almost everyone suspected each other of being someone shady back then.
There is also the very real possibility of picking up some germ that has been long extinct, so in that eventuality, you would not be able to return to your present time for fear of bringing a horrible plague with you.

All that aside, consider the possibility of changing history by doing something in the past that would have reverberations through time. It is quite conceivable that you could wipe out millions of people by preventing their births, including your own parents, effectively killing yourself before you were born. doh

No, time travel is too dangerous for sightseeing-bloody tourists could erase all reality!scold

RE: Women and makeup

Makeup aside, I have heard that the best way to get rid of acne is to use an astringent to keep your pores clean and free of oil buildup, and to regularly treat the skin with steam of about 115 degrees f. or a little hotter. the bacteria growing in your pores will die at this temperature, which is not hot enough to cause skin damage there are some commercially available units online, ranging in size from some that treat a small area at a time to full-face covering models. Covering up acne just makes it worse.
