Hi, my thoughts are that unconditional love is something to aspire to but incredibly difficult to achieve. I think that you love your children unconditionally but, with a partner it is more diffiult if not both parties are committed to aspire to unconditional love. It is an ideal in Buddhism and takes years of meditation and mindful living and learning to let go of your ego. However, we are only human and will fall down, time and again, As long as we keep picking ourselves up again and again and keep on trying, that is all one should ask for. Happy Easter Songbirds
