It's more common that someone just disappears than telling that they're not interested. At least it has been like that for me.
I used to take it very close to heart when it happened and wondered for days what I did wrong.
Finally, however, I have learned not to take it too serious. This is the Internet and people will do like this. Not much to do about it, it's their choice.
As someone said here, her reason for turning you down can be anything. No use in speculating. And if you feel you have done nothing wrong, you are most probably right.
For some reason only she will know, she didn't want to continue and it might not even have to do with you...
I can still feel both sad and frustrated when I get no explanation, just silence, feelings are hard to control, but I try to set my mind to something else instead, and sooner than I expected I have forgotten all about it.
