I tend to agree with Miss Kate. If you can't see a pic, what's the point? Here in Norway there are loads of women with no pic posted. I don't bother reading those.
Why no pic? I can think of a few reasons: He's - -unattractive -not serious about meeting someone -insecure about his appearance -married -worried what his neighbors will say
When you're online, you're exposed. Some people, perhaps newbies mostly, are skiddish about that
