Confidence is very important no matter how you look. Over eager is a big turn off too. Be casual and calm and act like it doesn't matter if she talks to you or not. Work on learning to be laid back but available, this is done with body language. Do not cross your arms and act nervous, sit back and laugh and listen. Try to catch her eyes and smile but not stare and ogle.
The lovebrazil guy was right are you looking for love or a hook up? If love be sincere. Have you seen the movie "Hitch" with Will Smith? He has some good pointers in the movie if you pay attention to what is said and what he does during the movie.
If just the hook up don't worry about being honest and forthright just say what she wants to hear (without going to far from the truth)and keep all your personal information to yourself. But let her know you are not looking for a relationship!!!!!!!!!!!
