I watched my mother-in-law suffer with alzheimers for over three years before her death and it was an extremely traumatic time for all of the family.....so it is a very sad and difficult time for you I know...what i found helped me was to get a recent photograph of her just before the disease took hold and put it on my mantlepiece and just remember her every day as she used to be.....the strong, happy and able woman who loved and supported me throughout most of my life.....
