Kids these days are the most technologically prepared generation we've ever had Because they'r glued to their phones and video games. Learning ICT and how to use different operating systems is invaluable in the modern world and that includes video games software which is an exploding industry with London second only to Tokyo in that industry. I can personally attest that I'v used almost nothing I learned in Secondary School (high school) but learning how to use modern gadgets has been invaluable to me. Especially for finding work. I'm currently typing this on a Playstation. That being said, if I had a kid, I would definitely want him to also take up a sport. Most gamers I know are also into rugby, football or martial arts. (I did play those games when I was younger though).
