I am almost certain that anyone holding the same interests would not want to avoid you. It's those who are seperated and wanting to get into a relationship that some of us may avoid.
Me thinks that one should first finish the book before starting another. As for wanting to be just friends, we all need more of those. Can never have too many friends.
