hey my fellow Mainer! Don't feel bad... sometimes I post things that I think are funny and not everyone agrees... or sometimes I stand up for what I believe in (like the contraversial post about posting pics of your kids) and some people have suggested that I"m stupid to be so protective of my little girls... well.. I try not to let that get to me, because that's my opinion and I"m gonna stick with it... Seems like there's always going to be someone who disagrees with you or has no sense of humor or doesn't respond... also.. I posted a St. Patricks thread.. and it took a while before anyone responded to that one...
Well said, devilishdoug... I'm not too impressed with guys who feel the need to "show their stuff"...like how you feel about women being too provocative... kinda hard to take them seriously...
I hear you on that ...the ice storm hit Maine pretty hard as well, now it's mainly inland areas and Southern Maine that is still without power. I know a lot of people who didn't have power on Thanksgiving too! :( I was one of the fortunate ones who never lost power during the storm, (my car was just so frozen I couldn't open the doors or trunk) We're getting another one today (snow). Lucky you...moving to Ireland! Can I come with you?.... lol.. Good luck on your move!
I haven't set my standard to guys that "have" to be Tall.... infact my description of my ideal guy says nothing about their physical appearence ... it's all about personality, qualities, strong character ... height is not an issue for me... as long as we like eachother that's all that matters..
