Hey Gizmo, I dont think you are any more "doomed" than any of us. I have thought of the same thngs and reading the other posts here, there are others that have thought the same at times. I thought that years ago when I fell in love with a friend but couldn't tell her as she was going out with someone and I new him also from child hood.So I kept being a friend and even taught her to drive, as I took her to anothr city to see him while I visited my folks, but a few years later after I took my self out of her life, I found out from her brother in a chance meeting at McDonalds that she died in a car crash. I was devistated.I thought that was it and thought what if I did let her know maybe the course of life that we were living may of changed and she wouldn't of been where she was at that time. I have been married twice since then and tho I am single now wanting someone again in my life I know I have love still in my heart to give and the door is never shut to letting someone in. You Gizmo seem to be oozing with love and one day I look forward to you posting that you have met a great man to share your abundance of love.
Hi Gizmo well I think all people with a good heart and values have thought the same things as you are thnking, is there any good people still there. Even tho I have at times not met any good ladies out there, they seem to be all with someone, I know there are still some ladies out there wanting the same things out of life. As I grew up I would know of and meet many a fantastic ladies, but they were with real a holes that would not even treat them with respect. They, the ladies, would be like you and me and all the other good people who would commit to the relationship and work it as a partnership with love and respect for each other but they were not getting the love and respect back. I could never figure out why they stayed in there relationship, really felt You seem a stronger lady and you know what you want, and not want, from a relationship. Being on here and opening ones heart for the world to see will only attract more people like your self and let them know they are not alone either. I wish you the best Gizmo
