RE: self destruction

I think you commented today that not all women are the same. Well, neither are scorpios. The only sign in the zodiac with three distinct types/symbols. Snake, Eagle, and Dove.

RE: Love = Money & True Love = A lot of Money

Erm, what can I say???? Maybe you skipped the first hour of Logic 101?

Even if I accept your initial assumptions, your first implication is nonsense! And it gets worse.

RE: why

Well, our career can be related to our self esteem, but it's mostly men who suffer from this affliction.

There are many aspects of our lives that men need to maintain, and we only have a finite amount of energy and time. If a woman demands all our energy and attention, while also expecting us to put all our energy into our career, and money (to buy them trinkets and an expensive lifestyle) - we really can't be blamed if things break down.

RE: Post a blog if you are real

I'm virtual. Software running on a supercomputer. A genetic algorithm was seeded with the simple "Eliza" natural language algorithms, and allowed to evolve for a few thousand iterations against a Turin test fitness function.

RE: I want a Swedish boyfriend for me. That's why I'm

I want a Chinese girlfriend for me. That's why I'm here.

RE: Is the season for lychees now

Do you have Yang Mei where you live? I've only ever seen it in China, when I lived in Guizhou province for a while.

RE: Twilight...annoying or interesting?

>millions of people who are swooning over these stories!!

Mostly teenaged girls swooning over that guy with the squashed nose. (Was he born like that?)

I downloaded and watched one of them - trying to explore what all the fuss was about.

Dull..... dull, dull, dull.

RE: The most famous personality

Certainly not Jesus. On a world scale not significant enough. I think Karl Marx. His ideas were adopted an applied to social change and bloodshed on a significant global scale. And where his "ideology" wasn't applied, in the West, there had to be a counter-ideology, and defensive reaction.

Karl Marx - definitely.

RE: Chinese babes and their writing

@emilyyan: It was fascinating and informative to read about the Chinese education system from your point of view. There is plenty about China that isn't likely to change in the near future - but we can hope.

@yandreavenusmelo: A couple of my less intelligent female students tried flirting - but I obviously wasn't interested. (I rarely even remembered bad student's names). Under different circumstances, I might been interested in one of my brighter students - but I've too many scruples about ethics and professionalism. As for my being single - blame that on high standards too.

RE: Chinese babes and their writing

@Drea111...."well dont the Chinese study far more than any other country?"

This is another reason that the Chinese education system fails. A lot of talented people start young, and enthusiastically pursue their passions outside of school. If I had been locked inside the syllabus - I wouldn't have had the time to excel in areas that were taught badly (or not at all) in the classroom. Also, the Chinese education system focusses only on Knowledge, not reasoning.
