Difficult but not impossible! All depends on what you are ready to do if you meet someone who lives far from you....when you have a job or a house it might be difficult to leave... I spend a lot of time with my companion who lived somewhere in UK while I am living in switzerland....was ready to move there, but he died unfortunately...I would live there if he was still alive. So, yes it is possible
