Many of us throughout the world and throughout history have seen the eternal life that is with God and we testify to it. That which cries out from within you is there for a reason, Deep within everyone of us it cries out that there must be more to life when we die. It is no accident that this same thing cries out from within every single persons heart across every single cultural and ethnic line!
Trust in God and look to Jesus, the author of our salvation!
I have had some nice chats with a couple of people. One was not so good, but it seems to be working just fine so far. I send flowers and make myself known and the responses come. Not many from my state, but some nice ones not so far away.
Agreed honey, but men are visual and women respond to it with fasion.... Its a wierd senario no doubt, but when it all comes down, beauty fades and we all want love. When I am an old man I would like to have my sweethearts hand in mine looking over the table at a healthy wonderfull family. Posterity darling... We all want love and happiness.
I dont think Heaven would be overcrowded ever. Its good that this life isnt all that we have. -A glorified spiritual existance, what a deal!- Praise God!
I think when those bad things happen that it is ultimately self centeredness. Not having Christ as THE focus in the relationship. Not treating the other as more important than yourself. Missing some humility and longsuffering/ patience that only being christ centered can teach us. Remember, we are not always faithfull to christ, but he never leaves us or forsakes us. However I truly truly believe that no one should get married unless it is brought to them by Christ in a way that is unmistakeable. Then you know you are with the right one and can have and be taught by God what a real marriage is, not to mention that you will not be getting married for selfish reasons to begin with..
There is alot of speculation on this matter that is based upon hopefulness or pessimism. The truth is that many, many people actually have seen the eternal life that is with God and not only through near death or death experiences. Thes people will tell you while looking strait into your eyes and extreme passion coming from thier hearts that God is real, heaven is real and eternal life is real. That God is good and there is more to life than the day to day struggles that we face. That we are in a magical world and universe with a God that loves us. That miracles do happen. These people claim to actually have seen and thier entire life changes based upon thier experience. You have heard "I have seen the light!" or "Mine eyes have seen the glory" and again, "I have been to the mountaintop" The question is; can you trust it? I do, implicitly! If I am wrong I lose nothing and just simply cease to exist. If the naysayers are wrong, they lose everything and more. Not a very wise bet. The odds are way in the favor of there being something more after death. You can base that on the intricacy of the universe itself if you want. Play the odds, take the safe bet. Seek and you shall find. Keep your mind and heart open and honestly ask questions. To all of lifes questions there is a good and fufilling answer. If you come up with any hopeless answers, that is a sure sign that you are on the wrong track. Life is good, and the answers to life are good!
RE: THE LORD'S HEART FOR ALL
Nice post. Quite humbling as well.
