Wearing a ring is not wrong but it does send a diiferent tone especially if a guy see's it. Was it the wedding finger and does it look like a wedding ring?. Wear it on a different finger when dating. Ask yourself the same question if you met a guy and he wore a ring on that finger. you would think he is playing around.
