I'm ok for time off as not back to work until the monday night. The saturday night i have booked & paid for a hotel in Durham & luckily the main trainline from North / South stops in Durham. Think i should be able to get a ticket from Peterborough - Glasgow, Glasgow - Durham & Durham - Peterborough for about £40 all in off the east coast website so an awful lot cheaper than the petrol would be

Yes i would do if they were within say 100 miles of where i live. At the end of the day it's 30 quids worth of petrol & could turn into a good day & if not you don't have to see them again. I am happy to meet anyone
If you look at the East Coast train website there are some bargains to be had. You need to check it either thursday or friday this week for the best deals
