Of course I consider nature a part of God, but that is the belief I choose to believe. I can't go into the details of what God looks like or even what kind of beer he or she drinks but this I know, I am not of such a small mind as to think we weren't created by something, we didn't just happen and there has to be a reason otherwise why are we here? there are lines in this life that we are not supposed to cross and those are made up of our own beliefs and values but they have to be underscored with some sort of structure which is based on what? that is what seperates believers from non-believers. I am comfortable with the fact that I believe, I don't need to have scientist to tell me weather there is a God or not.
I know very well that I am part of the mystery, probably one that will never be explained in our life time but yet scientist continue to try and disprove that there is a God and they will never be able to prove that, I am very confident of this. One without faith is somebody I just don't get.
My son does not believe in God, I have tried to talk him into but because I raised him to think for himself he has come up with the same ideals as you and others about the image/tangible proof of God, just look around you. How does it go? "No one is blinder than he who will not see" .
I would not try and push my beliefs off on you and I know you would not try and push yours off on me but we can see each others side, at least I can see yours.
This is an old argument that will never come to an exact end as the variations of beliefs are so different, and too there will never be proof beyond doubt that there is no God. Amen.
God just is Stress, it is the experience of him, not a picture that you can see. Scientist have proved nothing as far as knowing for a fact that there is no GOD.
ok, so the family lived upon a hill that was haunted and very unstable being built on a balloon, I have no idea of where the truck comes in but I am sure somebody will fit it. In the meantime the pin wielding, balloon poking mysterious woman who is also the bar keep gave two drinks of vodka and a bud, but the ladies left in a hurry taking a taxi to................
Believeing in God is a personal belief system. Scientists have not proved that there is no God therefore to have faith is something that I will keep. Scientist will be the first to tell you that they don't know for a fact that there is no God. It is my belief that every human needs faith and if you can't see it in the life you have now then you are not looking hard enough. I saw a thread talking about how emotions were not real yet we have them and use them, sometimes when we don't want to they burst out of us, happy, sad, mad etc. but they can't be seen or touched, only experienced, just like the faith in God. Not everybody has to agree but everybody has to believe in something that I think we can agree on.
I like to watch him when nothing else is on, he is a nice looking sort always spiffy dressed. After watching him it makes me feel good that I don't have the same problems as his guest.
I am missing the show called True Blood and have not found out when the third season comes to the uk now that is a good show anyone else know?
Yeah it is the spice of life, I see it as more mental than physical, to me if the mental is all good with the situation then the physical is all good. It is a choice, some need it and some don't.
Maybe it is just me but to think of my man with a plastic anything is a huge turn off and it has nothing to do with me not being woman enough trust that. Why can't women and men be creative without games and toys? seems to work for us. I don't own a toy by the way but I used to and it never ever took the place of two arms holding and squeezing and caressing me and what about the sound he makes during....um, well during it? yeah, I like real and I am sticking to it, but that's just me.
RE: IS THERE A GOD?
Your welcome, yeah it is a lot to take in on one read, I too will be revisiting it, great thread by the way
