According to the so-called 'Terminator Theory' (although there are other names for it too) even if you can go back in time...you can't cange the past...apparently (I'm edgy on science myself)
Either way...If it IS possible to go back in time...then I'd go back 5 minutes and have this chocolate cake all over again.
If you don't think there is anything after death then some wouldn't see anything majorly wrong by taking your life...although if there IS nothing after death then why take your life and go from something TO nothing even quicker?
If you believe in reincarnation then you might come back as something worse than what u started with.
If u are a God-fearing Catholic though, then taking your life DOES make a difference...as suicide is a mortal sin. You're basically taking God's greatest gift to you and throwing it back at him. Surely he'd be pissed off with that.
As far as I'm concerned u only live once (for those who don't support reincarnation)...and many have said that Life is Short. Nobody knows for sure what happens after that.
Once you die, that's it...the end of your life...it's booked and sorted...you ain't gonna miss it...
You know...everyone should be smiling (especially as it takes around 28 muscles to do it...compared with 40-odd it takes to frown)
There are lots of things that make me smile...especially relief.
For example, you know that moment when you leave importaint work till the las minute (in my case an essay) and than finish it and hand it in with literally seconds to spare?
But to be honest it's not really a privilage to be talking to these people (unless of course you know first time round that they're fakes).
Then there are the less obvious ones who draw you in overtime and then hit you with the money card. It's so annoying to go so far with talking to someone only to find out in the end that they are not for real and far from what you want.
Otherwise...if you know what they are up to...have fun messing with their heads I'd say...maybe you could end up cheating THEM out of money. ;)
unfortunately they do...there are tonnes of these stories of people being cheated out of loads of money for these people...
Dating sites are a prime target for scammers because it's easy for them to display a 'too good to be true' image of themselves to people on the site who take them for real...this kind of softens them up first before the issue of money comes into play.
I too have had those...but I go one step further and report them...especially those who are making it so obvious that it's a scam. This results in their profile being deleted and somehat hinders their attempts to try and scam another poor soul on the same site.
Actually, this is really to do with the fact that, after about 2 months of absence from Connecting Singles. com I have finally returned.
Some of you may or may not remember me briefly from December making my first thread, and then suddenly dissappear for a while ( as I don't have the net back home).
But now I'm back at uni and therefore back online...so hopefully you'll be seeing a bit more of me here and there.
I can't really put this into precise words but a couple of days ago I was watching 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' (and why not?) and that to me pretty much sums it up, especially the scene involving the Cratchet family.
well, I'm not sure about an A+ at this rate, but as its not connected to my actual degree I'm just going to do my best to at least pass it (just for that extra qualification)...but thanks anyway.
