well...I AM proud to be the world's tallest midget...or am I the world's shortest giant? I forget.


One thing I accomplished and am proud of is my History grade last year at Uni...the grade rested on 2 things...an essay and an exam...

For the essay... I 'passed'... but with the most absolute minimum 'pass' mark you could possibly achieve...meaning I had to do well in the exam...

secondly...I had to do REALLY well in the exam to qualify for honours...which I did in the end.

Recently, there's been a heated debate (a lot of talk...a lot of shouting...a lot of name-calling and pillow throwing) over what's what in our wee solar system.

Everyone knows about the 9 planets...but the debate in question rules that poor Pluto is too small to be classed as a 'real' planet...especially when there are other things out there that are bigger...and NOT called planets.

That, for some reason has forced the astronomers to make one of the most difficult decisions of their careers...should they bring in all those other objects and tag- em' all 'planets'...

or...(shudder)...should they revoke Pluto's 'Inter-planetary License' and reclassify it as 'A very big asteroid'?

Well...apparently they've met eachother half way...and agreed to bring 3 more objects to the list...

...but relegate Pluto to the status of 'Dwarf Planet' with these 3 newbies (or Plutons...as they are affectionately known)

OOOOOH...I can see it now...the other 8 planets (all laughing at Pluto...no longer one of the 'Big Boys' )

So...what does everyone think now that we now have '12' planets in our system (3 more in a week...gotta be a record!!! )

but what I have noticed lately is that either the site has sometimes been slow in informing me that I have a new message...

You're not the only one who'll be thinking this...but the catch 22 here is that this is one thing that these terrorists are trying to provoke...a complete disruption of normal lives...should we let them?

That's very true...I just think that texting them and then 'that's it' is a bit tasteless...no reason given (usually)...and usually no way for them to patch thing up or find out why.

Personally I'm glat it's over...intitially he seemed a nice bloke...but it turns out he was one of those 'possessive' types who wouldn't allow anyone else to compliment my sis and apparently he even got hold of her msn password and was reading her emails.

Right...one thing I hate with regards to relationships is people ending it with their lovers over the mobile...and in particular...text messages...

...even worse...using text message language. grrrrrr.

I advised a collegue against doing that and recently I found out that when my sister and her ex broke up...he had ditched her by text...

Now, I'm not the only one who feels this way about it, but for something as important as that...I think that ending it via text message is just something you just don't do.

Is it becoming fasion with the rise in mobile phone use or is it simply a select buch of cowards (to say the least)

What do you guys think?

All I know about it is that it is a fish...and a goat (creative to say the least )

From what I can see this is a sign that helps to inspire and strikes ambition and determination...


...being a fish-goat I can (metaphorically) climb the highest mountains (in life) and yet be able to swim the deepest oceans.
