You don't go in and stay,you go in restore the rights of the Libyan people for freedom and leave,telling them is their duty to find out,what kind of government they want,or who they going to elect to govern them.-
Oh Lady,don't be naive, NO Afghanis and NO Irakis were on the borders of USA threatening your National Security,the motives going to Iraq and Afghanista,were others than your National Security.The pretext of going there was National Security.
All they need is a small helping hand,by the west,and in the eyes of the rest of the world,will the liberators not the oppressors,like most world wide think, the west is, in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Prayers does not help the Libyan people right now.All the west has to do is, go in, pick up Gaddafi,hand him over to Libyan people,and leave soon after.
The military mission by the west,must be crystal clear."" we go in,we defeat Gaddafi's forces,we hand the rights to the Libyan people,how they want to be governed,before even forming a goverment,and we leave"",and is up to the Libyans what to do,with their new found freedom.
The sacrifices are right if don't have alterior motives,and if they do have, you have criticism.-In the Libyan case the motives for a military internvention must be clear.- I go in,i defeat the Libyan remaining forces under Gaddafi,i hand the fate of the country to the Libyan people to sort the fate of the country by themselves,and withdraw my forces straight after.
The pretext attacking Iraq was WMD,not freeing the people from a tyrant ,like Saddam,the Libyan people am sure, they will welcome any military internvention by the west,so can get rid of Gaddafi.

I was replying to ttom500 and i do believe the attack on Iraq and Afghanistan was wrong,though i will have no problem with US forces attacking Libya and free the people from this insane dictator.-
