I can't believe you are buying into that.Most state minimum wages are higher than the federal.The minimum wage has not been raised in 10yrs yet congress has voted itself a raise eight times in the same time period.Who the hell do you think pays for that.We do.Most small buisnesses are all for a wage increase since they live with a higher state minimum anyway.The minimim wage before taxes works out to a little over 8 grand a year.of course these people are on the welfare roles which in fact costs us once again.So an increase in the federal will affect no one except for the big corporations which spread the propoganda you are quoting.
