RE: Dreams

Well.. well.. well….

I don’t know about having to be a light sleeper in order to remember one’s dreams…

I’m not a light sleeper, I’ve slept through huge storms, through lots of blaring alarm clocks and having my ex husband throw up and not know about it… and on the other side, I’ve woken up when my kids have coughed or when my dog barked her head off not too long when there was a fire in the building. I suppose I leave the “call me if there’s anything worth getting up for” button on when I go to sleep.

I remember my dreams, and they’re great, it’s like watching films and I can change channels as I dream if I suddenly remember something I like more or if I realise there was one dream that hadn’t finished, I can actually go back to a dream and carry on from where I left it the last time I dreamed it.

I also visit people in my dreams but only people I have bond with for some reason, well… what’s the point of visiting someone you don’t have a bond with? In those dreams there are long conversations about important things that affect us one way or another. Sometimes I also dream of people, visit them and then the next day they call me up, but again that’s only with people I have a bond with.

I don’t have nightmares, I basically change channels if I don’t like the dream… am I a bit of a weirdo?... don’t, don’t answer that one..rolling on the floor laughing

The only time I don’t dream is when I’m too tired, then the tv is off.

RE: Is the compromise is possible?

I think it's only natural to want to please your partner when you love him or her, it's one more way of showing you love him/her and I don't think it's a thinkable thing.... right let me put that into english... I don't think it's something done consciously but unconscously.

if the relationship is a healthy one, this works both ways and as long as any of the partners don't forget WHO they are, and still look after their own needs then everything is just fine....

And Elley...

we do learn with every up and down.... no need to go back, there's plenty more ahead of absolutely everything..

Irish Diet but it could be anyone's diet

Irish Diet

An Irishman was terribly overweight, so his doctor put him on a diet.

"I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a full day, and repeat
this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see you, you should have
lost at least 5 pounds."

When the Irishman returned, he shocked the doctor by having lost
nearly 60 POUNDS!

"Why, that's amazing!" the doctor said, "Did you follow my
instructions?"

The Irishman nodded..."I'll tell you though, by jaesuz, I t'aut I were
going to drop dead on dat 3rd day."

"From hunger, you mean?"

"No, from f**kin' skippin", the Irishman said.

RE: MODERATORS????

well.. I suppose people who post people of their children do it because they love them and they're proud of them and they see nothing wrong in that... that's fine... in a way, we can't go around suspecting everyone of every possible sin or wrong doing or we'd stop living but sadly we live in a world where children's protection is never enough.

I'd love to put pictures of my children in my msn space but I don't put them there because I want to protect them, perhaps I'm paranoid, I don't care. Perhaps the people who post pictures of their children don't understand me not doing the same.. we're all entitled to our choices.... but I do seem to recall that somewhere down the rules here it said you couldn't post children's pictures...I can't remembe whether there were guidelines to that or not..
