Why are so many people still hung up about what happened with pass partners

I quite like my Ex just didn't love him if i had stayed with would have hating him . As it is he is not a bad man just not for me. I thought would end on a positive note about an ex.

Yea i take on some the blame for my Ex husband not being responsible parent and neglecting his family. I probably could have made him do more i chose not to. To which i hold my hands up. However thats the past time moves on and I'm happy
