I was just thinking how much open i have become to praise and hugs since i Started to work with people with mental health problems and learn difficulties. I have learnt so much for them i sometimes wonder who is supporting who

Praise love are a must for people to build their confidence. So they can face lifes hurdles.

People do not praise their children enough. I don't know how many times when i am out i have heard an adult say to a child. "Are you stupid"? Once i heard a small boy reply in a voice full of sadness "yes i am" God it made me feel sick. The Sad thing is that parent probably would have been horrifed if they knew how much damaged they did to the boy.

This the second post about women and men maturing at the different rates. This maybe true from about 14 to 25 then a like it evens out. I think people are individuals and clumping them all together does them an injustice. I know lots of men around my own age who staid and boring as are some women. Then there are others youthful and full of life. As I have said on our post see the person not they age or any thing else.
