well i live in brisbane and if some thing happend to u wouldnt u like the goverment to help you to but it should not be just for floods it should be for any natural desarster releef and it should be only 2% of your income and every on should pay if thay live in ozzie land.
But it should have been put in to pratic years ago when ash wednsday happend or even befor that then no one would have the problems with insurance compony's that thay do to day
