Normally.....

SO SO SO Agree with you.... It is not something I practice just one hour or one day a year It is every minute/second of my life.... But these Earth hours/Days, is an event when we can all pull together as one. Maybe even enlightening others to do it more frequently!???

Every Year I endorse Earth hour..(A few of the older members would know I do this)

But I thought I would wait and see if anyone else would mention it this Yr.... NO ONE did! ~~ Surprise surprise!!


Sooo Now I am on my soap box once again, and endorsing Earth Day....


This year, Earth Day 2011 is being organized around the theme of A Billion Acts of Green, which encourages individuals, corporations and non-corporate organizations to “live and act sustainably.”


After 40 years, Earth Day has organized itself into 77,862,183 people having pledged to do their part to help planet earth.

Same as you bab, been up since 4.45.... Couldn't get back to sleep, so tidied up, done ironing, cooked kids a pasta lunch for school. Got ready and went to work. Two rounds of toast there, came home 8ish had two hash browns and a slice of corned beef. Like you said Sail, I too need to shed the winter bulge....Need to lood in bikini for summer hols abroad with kids!

Work was a blast as usual.. Seem to have new manager wrapped around my lil finger!!

Also learned today from a good friend from off here, that there are sachets I can take to counter act my lactose intolerance... YAY, will be able to eat cheese again, without ballooning and looking five months pregnant, when I do!!

I have recently started to collect watches... Strange but true... I haven't that many up to date as the ones I like seem to be very exspensive..... I have a beautiful louis Vuitton one with the VL sign and other symbols on the face, the strap is white leather, with various coloured flowers on. I have a Morgan watch with a pink face and a such a beautiful pink leather strap, which has intrigate knotting in it. I have a chunky sqare faced Bench watch, plain white leather strap, which my sis bought me for my last B/Day. BUT the most Beautiful watch I have, is what my kids clubbed together for, for Mothers day for me.. The fact that they thought to do this, for ME made me cry. Could of looked like a bag of cack, I would of still loved it cos of what they done... But as it goes.... The watch is soooo beautiful and looks classy... Jeez I have brought them kids up with taste!!! LMAO

Good Evening A... Am so pleased you are not one of those narrow minded people... I too have children, whom have been brouught up with varied beliefs... If they hadn't, how the hell can they make up thier own minds as to which is right for THEM!??!! Sometimes have to think about it like getting a loan or morgage... All the banks (aka religions) all have their mane selling points, their pros and cons...... But untill you have done all the research you won't know which 'bank' offers the best for YOU as an INDIVIDUAL!!

OK I will answer this at the risk of losing a friend or two on here, whom will think I am either weird or some kind of devil worshiper!!!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE.. Believe me I am neither (ok ok ... I am a tad bit weird at times! lol)

I am more of a Wiccan believer.... Basically what they call 'alternative medicine' now a days! I do believe in spells. But they can't be used against someone whom is not willing ~ It isn't black magic.... For example... I used a love spell on someone from on here CS, whom I fancied loads.. If he didn't fancy me back it wouldn't of worked..... It (the spell) just speeds things up) We are both free at anytime to break free.....

I have two packs of tarot cards from which I do my own readings (am still a novice) But I will NOT let anyone touch them... I also have Runes, which I will let people ask me Q's for..

Clarvoyentcy.... I sure hope and plead that it does work, as I need to talk to my sis who is dead.. I need to tell her I am sorry!!!!

I am sure it must of been.... Tomorrow is going to be the very first time I have ever spent mother's day away from my kids, 'cos I will be working.... Feel sooo gutted. I should thank my lucky stars at end of day... Least I still have them to go home to afterwards. I have an awful lot to be thankful for...

Happy Mothers day to all moms.

I am not religious ~ Far from it..... But I have read a prayer and it has stuck with me for ages...

The words are so meaningful... I have lost 2 babies during pregnancy, and have suffered bad depression over the years. I have friends whom have lost children, I have friends whom care for other peoples children.... The list is endless... To all us MOMS


for new mothers, coming to terms with new responsibility ;
for expectant mothers, wondering and waiting;
for those who are tired, stressed or depressed;
for those who struggle to balance the tasks of work and family;
for those who are unable to feed their children due to poverty;
for those whose children have physical, mental or emotional disabilities;
for those who have children they do not want;
for those who raise children on their own;
for those who have lost a child;
for those who care for the children of others;
for those whose children have left home;
and for those whose desire to be a mother has not been fulfilled.
Bless all mothers, that their love may be deep and tender,
and that they may lead their children to know and do what is good,
living not for themselves alone, but for God and for others.

Could take take that in more than one way!!




But as it is..... A Cashier for cash and carry place, I am receptionist at... Having to take customers money. Not talking like at a till in local supermarket... We are talking THOUSANDS PER CUSTOMER!!! But not just taking cash, knowing what buttons to press if only paying one invoice if several on screen, what buttons to press if paying by cheque, or having to check, making sure they have enough credit limit, if they want it on their credit limit.........

Big responsablity, will get a warning if till is out by even £5... 3 strikes and OUT (as in SACKED)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seem to be suited to it!!!!

Gives me oppurtunity for more overtime and also something I can put on my CV ~ Can handle LARGE ammounts of money!! lol
