I don't think that anyone would have taken offence Hem ! I just think that if someone really does not think that they can come to a meet, that they should not sign up for it. I am thinking about the Dublin and Donegal meet but have not signed up because I am not sure yet if I can make them. If I know I can make them then I will sign up in advance so that the organizer can count me in !!!
I think that if people sign up for a meet they should prove that they are serious about it by maybe sending a deposit to the organizer of the event. It must be so dissapointing for someone to have put lots of their time into such an event.
I have not signed up for any meets yet and won't until I am CERTAIN that I can be there.
