Last night i was playing monopoly, the kids board game haven't played it since i was a kid.... this time i played with adults tho! i realised this game is so close to our world economy its not funny my piece was the car! representing the car industry! my friend had the canon representing the arms industry and so on! after a while it became clear who was going to win and who was paying out! i got lucky early in the game and purchased some of the best properties! so i was winning! or in a great position of control over the other players by 20 mins in i had all the money, because i was lucky from the start! i was excepting bribes, there was secret property snatches going on! dodgy trade deals! corruption, i was handing out bias stimulus grants to the players i liked to keep the game going! i owned everyone everything i had players getting me drinks to avoid paying debt! until the other players teamed up with a plan! that they wanted to restart the game because its just not fair! i said no no!.... i was held down and lost all my properties and money and control!...it was a revolution, my stuff was divided up between players! they figured this was great! the game was flowing nicely again! players were smiling again but i was unhappy with the revolution and pissed my empire fell! i was conspired against, deceived and wanted revenge on all who failed to see my glory! so i dropped the nukes and upended the entire table i figured if i cannot have it all, no-one can! ha ha!! i fear the future in this real life monetary system how bad do things have to get before we realise its a failed unfair system
I was thinking of some of the things j f k said about big business maybe is a good idea to cap wealth for big business rather than getting the working class to cover it? i really think we could do with a new system altogether.
if there is such a thing as a good partnership, its because it resembles friendship rather than love/lust Lust makes us think that having some person we don’t presently have would make us happier ummm until we find out the true reality!....that it was all just an illusion?and if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my new shoes.
its to vast to cover all the factors ? i dont have the answers just putting myself in his shoes ha ha big mistake huh ? soon i will be chased outta here by raging females with torches n shovels
i added some funny vids! got this thread in a good mood! now we are on fire with jokes keeping the mood high! the other threads are a downer, the op needs a laugh! maybe we can make him smile?
RE: Wealth for the common good
Last night i was playing monopoly, the kids board gamehaven't played it since i was a kid.... this time i played with adults tho!
i realised this game is so close to our world economy its not funny
my piece was the car! representing the car industry!
my friend had the canon representing the arms industry and so on!
after a while it became clear who was going to win and who was paying out!
i got lucky early in the game and purchased some of the best properties!
so i was winning! or in a great position of control over the other players
by 20 mins in i had all the money, because i was lucky from the start!
i was excepting bribes, there was secret property snatches going on!
dodgy trade deals! corruption, i was handing out bias stimulus grants
to the players i liked to keep the game going! i owned everyone everything
i had players getting me drinks to avoid paying debt!
until the other players teamed up with a plan! that they wanted to restart the game
because its just not fair! i said no no!.... i was held down and lost all my properties and money
and control!...it was a revolution, my stuff was divided up between players!
they figured this was great! the game was flowing nicely again!
players were smiling again but i was unhappy with the revolution
and pissed my empire fell! i was conspired against, deceived
and wanted revenge on all who failed to see my glory!
so i dropped the nukes and upended the entire table
i figured if i cannot have it all, no-one can! ha ha!!
i fear the future in this real life monetary system
how bad do things have to get before we realise its a failed unfair system
I was thinking of some of the things j f k said about big business
maybe is a good idea to cap wealth for big business rather than getting the
working class to cover it? i really think we could do with a new system altogether.
