Some of the old ones here make lye soap from ashes and hog fat...in a cast iron pot out in the front yard...I buy it just to support themm...but lol I never used it on my skin. You gonna flower me that address or what...

this thread is refreshing and everyone seems so busy...I am going to try and be serious today...even I am getting tired of my silly subjects. Have been working on cleaning and organizing my cabin, which I really kinda let slide for a year...everything was overwhelming...Got a kickstart when a friend spent a coupla days helping me and I hope to have it all done by Thanksgiving So far the loft is done and the long porch and I just finished this morning the kitchen area except for the cabinets where I keep the glasses cups and casserole stuff...I will tackle that tomorrow...I also need to pick the chiles before first frost and jar rhem up...I Sell some to local markets and have a bunch put up already...Some guys were supposed to come over this a.m. to finish fencing an area where I can keep goats and maybe pigs...They haven't showed up yet...but it's not a problem. I love reading and writing so I do a bit of both.
