I have been here for a while now, and I am still confused as to how many actually get dates here. And how proactive are women actually on this site? And how many are people normally in contact with at the same time?
Does anyone out there actually have some positive stories about internet-dating? I am quite new to this, so cant quite judge yet, but is it worth trying out?
In my opinion most women basically look for the same as most men do. I dont think the differences show until later in the "process" of finding the one.
I dont think there is a definate answer to that, but I DO think that you should do your best to conquer your fear. It will be hard the first times and may not go extremely well, but it will make it a little easier for each time you do it. You could try to practice on someone who you have no interest in like the people in the shops you go to...just small-talk a bit with them and in that way you will get used to talking with strangers. Ofc it is not the same as when romance is involved, but it is a small step in the right direction I think.
