I heard of this too Kris, trading for real cash, but here I think they have cards now? Not sure, but I have seen people with foodstamps buy alot of junk food. Looks like the staes would allow only for healthy foods and less junk,maybe a certian amount of junk food? And they say we are an obese country? just a thought!

Welfare should not be did away with, but is abused I can honestly say! You have mothers that have kids by so many different guys and not saying she is a ho, but come on, why have soo many kids by soo many guys knowing you can't take care of them? My father died when I was 4 and there is 6 of us boys, we all were living at home, I am honest to God to say my mother never was on welfare to take care of us. Sure she had friends and a mother -in-law, but never ate up the welfare. Not looking down on no one, but really, why keep having babies just to take away from those who can't really help themselves? Just my opinion. Mean to hurt no feelings at all, maybe I"m wrong?
