hi,i live in indiana we now how a total of 5 casinos.i was at first opossing to this idea.but now that the casinos are open its a different story.they have brought a lot of money in for the school system,road repairs,and have donated billions to community charities,it used to be there where no jobs in this corner of indiana,but these boats, between the five have created thousands of jobs,therefore bettering the economy.and the life stlyes of a lot of low income family's. so maybe some people get addicted.but if it was not gambling it would be something else.it thought the casinos would bring trouble with them.but i worked at argosy for four years and that is not the case.so the point is there would be a lot of good in allowing casino into michigan,the money that michagan residents bring to indiana.would probably stay local.
