o.b.e. (out of body experience.)

hi pogo, thanks for sharing your experience.

were you amazed at the situation that you found yourself in. did you question at the time. like what were you doing outside your body in that form and how could you see these things.?

perhaps you didnt as you were only 4y old.

in my case i was approx 15/16 , i was aware of everything happening and was able to ponder on it and question it. i was travelling along the tunnel in a prostate position at speed towards a bright light up ahead at the end of the tunnel. i had no physical body, but had a concept of having a body, except that it was transparent like a bubble in human form. i remember asking myself what was happening, and comeing to the conclusion that i must be passing from this life into the next. going from one realm to another. i was amazed by the fact that i could think etc, without a physical body as i had no physical brain. i was also very relaxed and calm through the whole experience. my awareness was magnified greatly to another level. it was after passing through the light that the most amazing part of my experience happened.

i was thinking regards your experience that you may not have questioned it at the time, as you may have thought at that early age, that its just what happens if u have a particular accident.

until you realise or are told at a later stage, that generally folks dont.

o.b.e. (out of body experience.)

i was wondering if many people on here ever had an out of body (o.b.e.) or near death experience(n.d.e) i had and o.b.e. experience as a teen, whereby i just blacked out for no reason one morning and went through the whole tunnel experience and more, it was amazing.
basically , floating through a long black tunnel with a bright light at the end and passing through it and had an amazing experience having passed through the light . later woke up after requesting to return to my body and earth for a while longer, and was fine.

it,s a long and amazing story but thats the gist of it in a nutshell.

anybody have any similar experiences.?

RE: Can You Read This?

yep read it automatically after 3rd line, then went back to see what 1st 2 lines were about..lol

i suppose the mind reads it because the numbers are similar to letters.? so makes a word with the rest of the letters. ireland :

euthanasia

yep, know what mean in that sense. i come from a very large family and some nurses ,and worked with elderly etc also myself. it just when one is working at the coalface and see people suffering with dreafull pain etc, who dont wish to be, and who may wish to pass away, as many have expressed a wish to. well, u start to ask questions, and wonder why they dont have a choice. as in the sense of euthanisa been formally available if they choose to avail of it. i was also in the army during my late teens, i recall stories whereby seriously injured soldiers in battle, who would be suffering from horrific injuries, and in great pain, who would ask, request their comrades to put them out of their needless suffering and let them pass away sooner. apparently, their comrades would respect their wishes and often complied. i would regard this as a humanitarian action.

pity the prey species , who live in herds, dont do so when a horse throws his jockey off at the start of a race an f-cks off down the track on his tod like a demented loner. lol ...and half the day spent tryin to catch him and remind him that he suppose to be with the herd above at the stalls. laugh

it not necessarily bad to do something with a horse thats against his nature, an racing a horse can do him no harm if done correctly. people do things for horses thats against their nature all the time, many things that benefit them. trim their coats, hair from eyes , clean their teeth, cut their hooves, shoe them . etc, etc.

theres nothing wrong with a horse being retired if their beyond racing. long as their looked after properly. and if a horse has to be put down for any reason, then a humane method is best.

yes, injuries/deaths do happen in horse racing as in most sports, no sport is a 100 pc safe. and yes more safety measures should be taken in certain horse races, esp the grand national. ie make it an easier test, and less of a challenge on the horse or ban the race altogether.
however, it must be said that by far the majority of horses who compete in the grand national come through it unharmed. ....it is a tiny pc that come out of it seriously injure or killed. so, one does need to put it into perspective.ireland

horse racing.

if u leave them in the wilds long enough and never go near them , they fall down like that eventually also.....dead.

except, they dont get all the t.l.c. beforehand.

it sad, ...but horses die as well from all kinds of things.

wonder what happened to that horse. confused

o, yep ..also seen serious probs as a result of gambling / drinking.
somtimes u wonder should they all be just banned.

but, then u think of the ones who are engaged in such things and it not a prob for them. dont seem right to take it away from them or tar all with the same brush due to the probs of others.professor

anyway, only for the lotto i never dream of going on a world cruise.
all, the places ive been to and seen,..twas great......im my dreamssleep ..lol

horse racing.

yep, it true what u say also,...and yep i can believe it.

it can turn out bad for so many reasons. (as can drink etc, if abused)

i would say all things in moderation and be carefull/responsible.

however, its essentially what the bookies are doing,....and some do fine. others go bust.

anyway , people like to have a punt now and again as people like to have a drink. and the sporting industries do a lot for the economy,.jobs/taxes an spin offs etc.

but, yep ...it can be a mug game also, addictive, bad for relationships etc,...like the demon drink.

so, be carefull out there.professor

which has me thinking about the lotto.laugh

horse racing.

yep, the bookies have or had a big advantage.thumbs up

but, today anybody can be the bookie if he/she so wish. they dont even have to open a bookie or pay staff, equipment, maintenance, overheads etc.

u can be the bookie on betfair by laying any horse in the race, ,,,i do it all the time, u have the field and the punter has one horse .

on the other hand, u can be the punter if u wish, by backing a horse, if u think its going to win.

u have the best of two worlds with betfair, u can be the bookie or the punter. they just take a small percentage of winnings for their service.thumbs up

havin said that,...its not easy to win either way.conversing

euthanasia

its the right of people to make free choices that i am in favour of. i have worked for many years in hospitals etc caring for the elderly, ill, and i know what its like for those people to be suffering. totally dependent on others for their every need. also, they have no choice but to put up with it. its not like as if they can say they wish for it to end or pass away. if they wish to live as millions do thats fine.
also, i dont wish for people to join the ranks of the dead,...thats a matter for themselves. i wouldnt encourage them one way or the other.however, i do think that they should have a choice in the matter.

obviously ,if such a service were available to peeople who wished to avail of it,..then it would have to be regulated and policed . the mixed motives of others who may have influences etc would have to be closely monitored also.

my, only interest in this, is that people could end their own suffering if they choose to do so. rather than not having a voice.

i will have alook at the dvd u mention,...see if it change my opinion.

but, i dont know how overpopulation or food shortages in the world, would be a basis for takeing away peoples freedom of choice in this matter.
