Brunette,You are absolutely right about the role a father should play. Whatever smashed the marital bond between the parents should not leave the disasterous results on their children. A man can legally separate from his wife but a father cannot separate himself from his own children and refrain from meeting his obligations as a proper father. Some fathers might argue that all this is the mother's fault but that is not justification enough for mistreating the innocent children.
