Thank you Stringman, that's very interesting. I still don't understand, why people worship Jesus instead of God. I was brought up Catholic. I find all religions very interesting, and why people are SO afraid of other religions to their own, when they all have the same basic intent. ie Jewish, Muslim, Christian all have the same God and even the same genealogy at times. Hinduism is one of THE oldest religions and believes in reincarnation, depending on how good you are today, depends on how good a life you'll come back to. The way things are going today, we may all be blown up by a thousand earthquakes, and I don't think it will be by anyone's God, but by a billion disrespectful humans on Mother Earth.
its illegal now to kill the beasties and eat them, as the natives used to do. Its not a blame game. I am also European. I just don't see how you equate starvation with a belief in God. If you read the bible it is fairly clear the God involved is not the most merciful...plagues of locusts, smiting, floods, smiting, and more smiting.
I have heard stories of people giving themselves to demons, accepting their temptations or whatever...humans doing demons work to grow numbers. I kid you not. I have never met or even seen any 'dark' people, I don't know why.
Everyone should have an inner faith and the light of your soul when projected can banish demons. Just imagine your white light and THROW it at them. Apparently.
There are many things in this world we can't see, don't mean they not there.
Hindu's also believe the body contains the spiritual soul, which is immortal. Though Hindus do not sit around in Hollywood paying lots of money to a bunch of prats in their walled and locked compounds, distancing themselves from humanity, to realize this.
If you have a look back in history, the europeans invasions of Africa is what has caused the starvations of today. That is not a reason to disbelieve in God or feel superiority for those who do. Arrogance and domination is what caused most indigenous populations to live in poverty.
And I don't know why everyone harps on about God on his own, is Goddess in the kitchen? Takes two to procreate, only makes sense to have God AND Goddess.
Do we really NEED to understand everything on Earth? I think that before organised religion started telling people what to believe and what to think, who to listen to that we had a much greater connection and grasp to 'God'. Look at all the indigenous peoples, ie native americans, Aborigines, pre christian Irish, they all believed in being a part of nature, not the controller/dominator of nature. To grasp God just stand outside in a powerful thunder storm.
No offense Pedro. I have faith in holy spirit, cosmic force, the power, angels, quantum physics, whatever you like to call it. I don't need a book for this, but some books can be enlightening.
I believe Jesus was a prophet and communicated with this God, if you will, (if the stories are true) and he told us (sic) "I am the son of God, as we are all the children of God, he lives in me, as in all of us" I dont think he meant us to turn around and turn Jesus into God.
I agree, and it was written over a few hundred years, methinks, by many men, with things being written in the context of the times it was written. Lets not forget in those days, most of the population were nauture loving, 'pagan' means country dweller, who lived a simple life of seasonal worship, where religion and science was one. Christianity strove to overcome this religion, as churches brought money, land and kept the people in line. Hence the devil was created, as the 'pagan' male deity of fertility had horns, so has the devil horns, therefore ..yahdayahdayahda. Control and power and fear is within the bible.
RE: Frightening Consequences of negative Indoctrination - Hatred, Killings, Terrorism, Wars
In times of Chaos we must stick to the walls of our house like a horse to the saddle.
I.E, If we all look after our own house, our family, our neighbours, teach our children to be good, then there will be no more trouble.
