RE: Colin Powell endorses Obama

I am U.S. veteran and I support Obama. I voted for him in last election and will next week. He has shown full support for the military. Don't confuse propaganda and political commercials as truth. I would like to see the statistics proving that terrorists' attacks are up. There is no way that the leader of one country, even the U.S., can prevent all terrorists' attacks. It has to be a unified worldwide effort from a coalition of nations. Colin Powell is an honorable man - honorable enough to be selected as Bush's Sec. of State, so I find it interesting that the Republicans will attack his character now.

Oh, Rush Limbaugh should never be quoted as a reliable source.

RE: They're still at it

You would think an international attorney, or whatever his "firm" supposedly does, would understand the basic rules of grammar and punctuation in the English language. I have worked with numerous people from foreign countries and find that their use of the English language is usually superior to most Americans. English as a Second Language (ESL) speakers are usually very formal, because they don't have the bad habits that Americans pick up from regionalisms. Oh yeah, I have two degrees in communications (written and verbal), in case you might not have noticed. lol

The sad part is the number of people who will send them money. I know a guy who sent over $15,000 to a similar scam. I don't understand why anyone would. I guess the get-rich-quick scheme is too tempting.

RE: THE President Actually! Preisdent Obama or President Romney?

Fact: The day that President Obama spoke from the Rose Garden to the American people about the assassination of the Ambassador, he referred to it as "acts of terrorism." I don't know if some people understands the way that investigations work, but they take time. He did have security. If you will look it up, three U.S. Marines died with him. Anytime an ambassador takes a position in a potentially hostile country, they understand the risk. Several ambassadors have been killed in our nation's history. Tragic, but it is the nature of the job. That is the reason all ambassadors have military guards.
