It is hard enough to brave yourself and put yourself out there for website dating.
Yes i can see the reason why some people will not put their photos on their profiles page.
But lets face it! This is "dating website" We are all in the same boat, like it or not.Not showing your face on the profile is not going to work.On top of that it is an excuse to get a personal email address from others so the "no face person" can send photo to the nominated emails address.?Would you easily give out your personal email address to a stranger just to get to see his face?That is not a gentleman s act for a start.
Can you imagine walking down the street and have some stranger (hiding behide the window looking at you) and shouting out loud at you "hello beautiful i d like to get to know you"
Would you stopped walking right there and reply"yes i d love to hear from you lovely, let s chat,mr no face"!
Not for me, i will instead run as fast as i could before he comes out from that hiding place to get me.
I myself truly beleive that the foundation of trust is base from the first impression from a start.There is no point trying to get to know someone who have such a low self esteem.Imagine having your first date at the cafe and sititng opp the man with the bag over his head.?
Regardless what your personal s reason is for not showing your face on dating site. This is a dating site let others see who you are,and please not an actors face on your profile, you gotta be kidding!
Pardon me for negative thinking.I often think of these faceless people as "married", "de fecto" "ex-criminal" "Too ugly" and "con man"etc.the list goes on.
This is just my thought for this morning..from the land downunder.
