Read the book "23 Minutes in Hell." You DON'T want to go there. Jesus Christ conquered sin and death. Get to know Him, and be obedient to the Commandments.

Catholic view:

1) You are born
2) You live about 80 years if you're lucky
3) You die
4) You are judged (once you are dead, there is nothing you can do to change your situation)
5) You go to Heaven or Hell for eternity; some may go to Purgatory for a time (Catholics believe that Purgatory is part of Heaven, where the soul must be purified , "purged" before seeing God).

So it's pretty much: death, judgement, Heaven or Hell

If a person dies in a state of mortal sin (having broken one of the 10 Commandments), there is a chance s/he could go to Hell. I read the book "23 Minutes in Hell," and it made me NEVER want to go there.

Only One conquered sin and death: Jesus Christ. None other than God made flesh can save you. Get to know Him before it's too late!

The quote for men: "Faint heart never won fair lady." applies to women too. We need to take the initiative sometimes or remain forever alone.

Although this is kind of blunt, I think that I have to agree. Once a the kids are grown, and a woman finds herself alone, then she needs to take the initiative, or become a cat lady.
